Most recently, she completed a Fellowship in Integrative Medicine through the University of Arizona with Dr. Andrew Weil. Read the 2006 Press Release. While this Team will be based on Dr. Weil’s model in Tucson, it will no doubt be somewhat different in composition in an effort to accurately reflect the Alternative Medical Community in Paducah. Thus, the exact composition of the Team is not certain, but it could be there will be rotating members. A need is anticipated for herbalists, naturopaths, homeopaths, acupuncturists, body workers, chiropractors, osteopaths, spiritual healers, nutritionists, psychologists and counselors, shamanic practitioners, and more.
Ultimately, there will also be local Medical Doctors participating to learn about the many healing modalities available for their patients. The Team members will serve a valuable function in educating the participating physicians about the appropriate use of these alternative therapeutic modalities.
If you think you might like to serve on such a Team, please fill out the Practitioner Form (PDF) and return it to us. Feel free to make copies for your interested colleagues, or refer them to this website. This process of building the Team is expected to take several months or more, so please be patient in our response to you!
